This project focuses on the understanding of the sentiment of urban images shared by users on social networks.

In this project, we use large-scale data and data science techniques to study city dynamics, urban social behavior, and their relations with neighborhood change.

Politics in different countries show diverse degrees of polarization, which tends to be stronger on social media. This project aims to characterize and model this phenomenon, envisioning to propose possible solutions to this threat to societies.
